In order to continue promoting the internationalization of our school's education and encouraging students to participate in overseas exchange programs, the School of International Education held a pre trip briefing for exchange students to National Jiao Tong University in Korea in 2023 on February 13. The Vice Dean of the School of International Education and relevant responsible teachers participated in the event, and the meeting was presided over by the project leader Xia Wenjun.

Firstly, Vice Dean Yuan Yuan, on behalf of the school, warmly congratulated the two students who will be studying at National Jiao Tong University in South Korea. She said that the school attaches great importance to the exchange program with National Jiao Tong University in South Korea. I hope that students will cherish this opportunity to exchange and study abroad, with learning as their primary task. When going abroad, they should help each other, take personal protection measures, and achieve common academic progress. At the same time, we remind everyone to have a clear understanding that when communicating overseas, individuals not only represent the image of the school, but also represent the image of the country. We should achieve cultural confidence, be a good ambassador for cultural exchange, strengthen communication with teachers and students of overseas universities, and broaden our horizons; Coordinate and plan one's own learning and life, and carry out various activities in an orderly manner; Always maintain a rigorous style of work and showcase the good spiritual outlook of our students; Enhance team awareness and successfully complete academic work; Putting personal and property safety first, complying with local laws and regulations, and respecting local customs and habits; Establish and maintain the image of the school and the country, with a noble sense of mission, and serve as an ambassador for international exchanges at Nanjing Railway Vocational and Technical College.

Vice Dean Zhang Yi delivered a speech on credit mutual recognition, teaching language, and course offerings at South Korean Jiao Tong University. She stated that students need to enhance their Korean language learning and cross-cultural communication skills. She hopes that students can safely and smoothly complete communication and learning, and while gaining knowledge, showcase the vibrant and upward demeanor of contemporary Chinese college students.

Since the establishment of an intercollegiate cooperative relationship with National Jiao Tong University of Korea in 2012, our school has carried out multiple collaborative projects such as short-term cultural exchange and semester exchange training for students. In 2023, two students were dispatched, further expanding their international perspective and enhancing cultural exchanges between students from China and South Korea.
