On April 29th, our school held an online promotion meeting with Kazakhstan University of Logistics and Transportation to prepare for the construction of the "Zhenghe Center". Participants from Kazakhstan include President Shalitanati, Vice President, Office of Cooperation and Academic Exchange, and leaders of the School of Logistics and Management. Vice President Cao Guohong of our school, as well as relevant leaders and teachers from the School of International Education and the School of Finance and Logistics, attended this meeting.
At the meeting, President Cao introduced the direction and plans for the future construction of the "Zheng He Center" to Kazakhstan. Principal Shalitanati stated that although international communication is currently facing difficulties due to the pandemic and offline communication is hindered, the cooperation projects between the two schools will not lag behind. Both sides reached an agreement on the construction plan of the "Zheng He Center" and discussed and exchanged specific issues such as promoting student cooperative training, Chinese course output, online training, cultural exchange and visits between teachers and students, and international skill competitions.
This meeting has laid a solid foundation for the future diversified international exchanges and cooperation between the two schools, and the beautiful vision of jointly building the "Zhenghe Center" will be realized as scheduled. At the same time, it has also broadened channels for our school to accelerate multilateral international exchange and cooperation in the post pandemic era, which is of great significance for comprehensively building a new pattern of international exchange and cooperation.
