In order to better strengthen cooperation between the two universities and promote the joint construction of the "Zhenghe College" between China and Kazakhstan, on July 4th, our university held a consultation meeting with the "Zhenghe College" project of Kazakhstan University of Logistics and Transportation in Conference Room 403 of the office building.
The meeting was held through a combination of on-site attendance and online video attendance. The President of Kazakhstan University of Logistics and Transportation, Shalitanati, the head of the Kazakhstan cooperation project, Cao Guohong, the Vice President of our school, the heads of the School of International Education and the School of Finance and Logistics Management, as well as the head of the cooperation department, attended the meeting.
At this meeting, both parties discussed the cooperation mode and professional plan, and preliminarily formulated cooperation plans including international student training, Sino foreign cooperative education, and teacher training sharing. In order to better promote the negotiation and construction of the China Kazakhstan "Zhenghe College" project, a project management council consisting of the heads of the International Education College and the cooperative secondary college was established at this meeting.
The establishment of the Council is a milestone in the development of China Kazakhstan "Zhenghe College". Based on the new situation of international education cooperation and development, it will formulate and discuss the development project planning, educational forms, and talent training goals through cooperation between the two schools. In addition, the Council will regularly organize member meetings to discuss cooperation issues such as teacher building, talent training, specialty setting, language training, curriculum reform, etc., so as to contribute to the strength of South China Railway in promoting educational and people to people exchanges along the "the Belt and Road" and cultivating international professionals.
