In order to further promote the construction of the "1.5+1.5" railway signal automatic control major joint education project between our school and Kuala Lumpur Construction University in Malaysia, the school held an online conference at Kuala Lumpur Construction University on the morning of May 18th. Our Vice President Cao Guohong, the leaders of the School of International Education and the School of Communication and Signal Technology, as well as relevant professional teachers, attended the meeting; Dr. Norhazila Mohd Zain, Academic Vice President of Kuala Lumpur Construction University, Director of Registration, China Affairs Operations Department, Academic Development and Quality Assurance Department, School of Engineering Science and Technology, Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and relevant professional directors and teachers attended the meeting.
Vice President Cao Guohong fully affirmed the foundation and preliminary preparations for the cooperation between our university and Kuala Lumpur Jianshe University. The two sides proposed constructive opinions on the cooperation between China and Malaysia in the areas of project MoA signing, new professional press conference, enrollment promotion plan, mutual visit plan, and teacher training plan, and reached a consensus.
The joint education project between the school and Kuala Lumpur University of Construction in Malaysia was officially signed in 2019. In 2021, the project was approved for registration by the Malaysian Academic Accreditation Authority (MQA) and certified by the Malaysian Technical Commission (MBOT). This year, the project has passed the admission permit of the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education and entered the substantive stage of education, marking another breakthrough in our school's cooperative education.
