On October 26th, the 24th China International Education Conference was held in Beijing, and Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. This conference is an annual international education event organized by the China Education International Exchange Association under the guidance of the Ministry of Education since 2000. It is the largest international cooperation and exchange platform for education in China and one of the most influential comprehensive international education events in Asia. Our school president, Du Guoxiong, and representatives from the International School of Education were invited to attend the meeting.

That afternoon, the seminar on 'Changes and New Situations' - Opportunities and Challenges for Studying Abroad in China under the New Situation' was successfully held at the National Convention Center. Liu Limin, President of the China Association for International Exchange of Education, Lin Shiliang, Deputy Director of the Certification Work Committee, An Yan, Deputy Secretary General, Liu Xiao, Director of the Study Abroad Office of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of the Ministry of Education, Yang Shubing, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and Jiang Lan, Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology attended. Yang Shubing, Deputy Director General of the Education Department of Jiangsu Province, pointed out in his keynote speech that studying abroad in China is an important work that the CPC Central Committee pays close attention to and is full of expectations. It is also an important support for the "the Belt and Road" initiative and an inevitable requirement for serving the construction of an educational power. He took the order class for international students at our school as an example and shared the advanced practices and development vision of studying abroad in Jiangsu Province.

At the seminar, commissioned by the Ministry of Education, the China Association for International Exchange of Education announced the results of the first batch of higher vocational education quality certification for international students studying in China. "Higher vocational education quality certification for international students studying in China" is an evaluation of the quality of education for international students studying in China conducted by the China Association for International Exchange of Education in universities across the country, and is currently an important indicator for testing the effectiveness of education for international students studying in China. As one of the first batch of higher vocational education quality certification schools for international students in China, our school has passed the high-quality higher vocational education quality certification for international students in China and obtained the "Education Service Certification" with a validity period of 6 years. Our school principal, Du Guoxiong, was awarded a certificate on behalf of the school on site.

The school adheres to the educational philosophy of "taking the path of integrated development and walking with China Railway", and has achieved fruitful results and numerous highlights in international education. In recent years, the university has won the honor of "Top 50 International Influential Higher Vocational Colleges" for two consecutive years, "Advanced Collective of Foreign Student Education in Jiangsu Province" for three times, and "Advanced Unit of Foreign related Education in Jiangsu Province" and "High level Demonstration Construction Unit of Chinese foreign Cooperation in Running Schools in Jiangsu Universities". In 2023, the school was awarded the "A+" unit in the comprehensive evaluation of high-quality development of foreign cooperation and exchange among universities in Jiangsu Province, the first batch of "Zhenghe College" project funded construction units in Jiangsu Province, and the first batch of Chinese universities in the national "Future Africa China Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Plan" (only 3 vocational colleges in Jiangsu), with significant achievements in international education.
