International Education Institute Holds a Q&A Conference on Sino foreign Cooperation Projects for Studying Abroad in Russia

     In order to ensure the smooth progress of the school's 2023 Sino Russian cooperation project, the Institute of International Education and the Eurasian International Association held a Q&A session on the afternoon of May 10th to promote the Sino foreign cooperation project for studying in Russia. The meeting was presided over by Yuan Yuan Yuan, Vice Dean of the School of International Education. Zhang Yi, Vice Dean of the School of International Education, Jing Lewei, Teacher of the Eurasian International Association, Teacher in charge of the project, and 86 students from the 2021 and 2022 Railway Traffic Operation Management and Railway Signal Automatic Control Sino foreign Cooperation Class participated in the meeting.

     At the meeting, Dean Yuan of the School of International Education briefly introduced the basic situation of our school's cooperation with the St. Petersburg State Alexander I Emperor Jiaotong University in Russia, and encouraged students to seize the opportunity to strive for further education in Russia, improve their academic level, and broaden their international perspective.

     Professor Jing Lewei from the Eurasian International Association gave a presentation through short videos, slides, and other forms, introducing the ranking, academic atmosphere, and student accommodation of the National Alexander I Jiaotong University in St. Petersburg, Russia; At the same time, it also explained in detail to the students the admission application process and the precautions for handling various materials. During the Q&A session, Professor Jing Lewei and the project manager of the International School of Education conducted corresponding analysis and answers to the questions raised by the students.

     Since 2018, our school has had a total of 28 cooperative program students studying abroad at the State Alexander I Emperor Jiaotong University in St. Petersburg, Russia. Currently, 8 students are not studying, and 17 students have obtained bachelor's degrees. Among them, 4 students have successfully pursued master's degrees, promoting the high-quality development of our school's international talent cultivation.
