From May 13th to 14th, the "Joyful Reading of Jinling" themed activity of "Joyful Reading of Jiangsu" for foreign students was held in Nanjing. Our school's international students, Hamidi and Mu Anwen, participated in this event under the guidance of their teachers.

     On May 13th, international students participated in the launch ceremony of the "Reading Jiangsu" themed activity for foreign students and the opening ceremony of "Reading Jinling" held at the Jinling Library, and listened to the literary lecture given by the Dean of the School of Literature at Nanjing Normal University, Gao Feng. On the evening of the 13th, through an immersive recitation concert of literary works, we appreciated literary works related to Nanjing recited by representatives of international students, as well as Jiangsu cultural characteristic music works performed by teachers and students of Nanjing Normal University.

     On May 14th, international students collectively visited the Imperial Examination Museum and personally experienced the profound cultural heritage of Chinese imperial examination.

     This event is organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, co organized by the Jiangsu Higher Education Association Foreign Student Education Management Research Committee, and led by Nanjing Normal University. The aim is to seriously implement the work requirements of the 2023 National Education Work Conference, promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, strengthen the "Study Abroad in Jiangsu" brand, and guide and encourage foreign students to experience the profound and profound "Jinling Culture" firsthand during the event.

     Our international student said, "Through this' Joyful Reading of Jinling 'themed activity, we have gained a better understanding of Jiangsu and Nanjing through a combination of walking and reading, tasted the rich historical and cultural heritage of Jinling, and improved our personal cultural literacy. We hope to have more opportunities in the future to deeply experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture
