From November 6th to 11th, 2023, Vice President Cao Guohong led a delegation to Egypt for a work visit, visiting the Egyptian Higher Institute of Transportation Technology, the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, the AVIC International Office in Egypt, and the Maintenance Project Department of the Egypt Ramadan 10th City Railway Project, to promote the implementation of the China Egypt Rail Transit "Zhenghe College" construction project.
Vice President Cao Guohong and President Taha Ragab Ibrahim of the Egyptian High School of Transportation Technology exchanged in-depth views on the construction project of the "Zhenghe College" of China Egypt rail transit of mutual concern in a friendly and friendly atmosphere. Both sides introduced the school's educational history, educational philosophy, major settings, training facilities, and basic information on student employment. Vice President Cao Guohong and leaders of AVIC International visited the Chinese Embassy in Egypt and visited Lu Chunsheng, Minister Counselor of the Education and Science Office of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt. They reported in detail on the cooperation between schools and enterprises in the construction of the "Zhenghe College". Counselor Lu Chunsheng highly praised the construction model of "Zhenghe College" and expressed his willingness to actively assist in promoting the construction of "Zhenghe College". He hoped that schools and enterprises would accelerate exploration and summarize experience to promote it.

The delegation visited AVIC International's office in Egypt, and Vice President Cao Guohong had in-depth exchanges with AVIC International's project leaders in Egypt, Chen Wei and Han Bao, on matters related to the construction and promotion of the "Zhenghe College". Based on the results of this delegation's visit and the preliminary cooperation intentions reached with Egyptian schools and equipment suppliers, both parties have formulated the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of our school, AVIC International, and the Egyptian High School of Transportation Technology.
The delegation visited the maintenance project department of the Ramadan 10th City Railway project in Egypt, along with Gu Sufei, Executive Vice General Manager of the maintenance project department, as well as CRRC Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., China Huaxin Posts and Telecommunications Technology Co., Ltd., Kasco Signal Co., Ltd., Otis Electromechanical Elevator Co., Ltd., China Railway 16th Bureau Group Co., Ltd Representatives from Beijing Zhongsoft Wanwei Network Technology Co., Ltd. conducted in-depth discussions on the talent needs of school enterprises, and learned about the basic situation, main equipment configuration, talent sources, and demand status of each company. Subsequently, the delegation visited job positions and had discussions with representatives of graduates from the first and second Egyptian order classes at our school. Graduates' representatives express gratitude for the school's training and highly recognize the school's efforts in teaching quality, faculty level, talent evaluation, and other aspects. From November 5th to 8th, the 5th Middle East and Africa Intelligent Transportation Exhibition was held at the Egyptian International Exhibition Center. The delegation was invited to participate in the signing ceremony of cooperation between AVIC International and the Egyptian National Tunnel Authority during the exhibition period, and visited the transportation exhibition to gain an in-depth understanding of the latest developments in the Egyptian rail transit industry, enhancing our school's confidence and determination to go overseas with enterprises.
