Our school's students achieved outstanding results in the 2022 "FLTRP · Guocai Cup" Jiangsu Vocational and Technical College English Proficiency Challenge

     The 2022 "FLTRP · Guocai Cup" Jiangsu Vocational and Technical College Students' English Ability Challenge Speech Competition and Writing Competition were recently held. Six contestants from our school won one second prize, two third prizes, and one first prize, two second prizes, and one third prize in the Jiangsu Regional Speech Competition, respectively, for their language collision thinking sparks and writing profound viewpoints.

     The "FLTRP · Guocai Cup" English Proficiency Challenge for Vocational and Technical College Students is one of the most influential English competition projects in China. It is also a comprehensive platform for national college students to showcase China's wisdom, spread China's voice, demonstrate English written communication, information extraction, analysis, integration, and humanistic thinking abilities.

     The two events of this competition, the public English group and the English professional group, compete on the same stage. Due to the impact of the epidemic, this competition has been held online. The contestants use Tencent Meeting and Intelligent Evaluation Cloud Platform in their respective schools to participate in the competition. The organizers also use the monitoring Tencent Meeting Room to record the entire process of the competition, ensuring the fairness and impartiality of the competition.

     After internal selection, the International School of Education selected three contestants to participate in the provincial speech competition and the provincial writing competition, which lasted for over a month from the internal selection competition to the official competition. During this period, the International School of Education established a team of guiding teachers for the speech competition and a team of guiding teachers for the writing competition. They conducted online and offline guidance, Q&A, and pre competition intensive training for students, providing comprehensive support for our school's students to actively prepare for the competition.

     In recent years, the School of International Education has been committed to exploring the reform of college English teaching, especially by incorporating ideological and political elements into teaching, and has achieved good results. Promote learning through competition, promote teaching through competition, and integrate competition with education. Our school utilizes our professional expertise to help students grow their horizons, broaden their horizons, and enhance their skills. We are committed to telling Chinese stories and railway stories well in foreign languages, and cultivating more international talents with ideals, abilities, responsibilities, and willingness to work hard for our school.
