From July 22 to 23, 2019, the "High-level Forum on Serving "Belt and Road Initiative" for Schools and Enterprises and the 4th Annual Meeting of China-ASEAN Railway Transportation Education and Training Alliance", jointly organized by BJU and BJU, was successfully held in Guiyang. More than 120 representatives from 56 ASEAN countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Indonesia, as well as universities and enterprises in China's rail transportation industry attended the forum. He Li, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Guizhou Province, and Deputy Minister of Education of Laos attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Cao Guohong, vice president of the institute and secretary-general of the Railway Transportation Professional Committee of China Vocational Education Association, represented the school to attend the meeting and presided over the experience exchange session of the Chinese school. The Party and Government Office of the school and the International Education School participated in the whole meeting.
The meeting consisted of four parts: special report and information release, ASEAN school information release, Chinese school experience exchange and exchange negotiation and signing. At the meeting, 7 enterprises such as State Railway Administration Planning and Design Institute, China CNR Group Corporation and China Railway Corporation made special reports entitled "Contribute Wisdom and Strength, Cooperate and Promote Development", "Play the Advantage of Association Resources, Strengthen the Close Cooperation between Schools and Enterprises, and Work for the Development of China-ASEAN Rail Transportation Education and Training", etc.; 10 ASEAN schools such as Tanya Bhuri University of Technology in Thailand and Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia Ten ASEAN schools such as Thailand Tanya Bhuri University of Technology and Cambodia Royal University of Phnom Penh released information on talent cultivation and cooperation demand; 11 Chinese universities such as Tianjin Railway Vocational Technical College exchanged experiences on international cooperation such as "establishing Luban Workshop". At the stage of exchange and signing, Chinese universities, enterprises and ASEAN universities reached a lot of consensuses on strengthening exchange and cooperation after contact and negotiation, and signed many school-university and school-enterprise cooperation agreements. Our university reached an important consensus with Laos Babasa Institute of Technology on promoting international talent training in rail transportation, and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The meeting proposed to follow the principle of "deepening practical cooperation and sharing development achievements", focus more on strategic planning, strengthen top-level design, innovate cooperation ideas and cultivate development highlights. In the next step, China-ASEAN Rail Transit Education and Training Alliance will further promote the cooperation between Chinese and foreign rail transit colleges and enterprises, further assist the development of overseas business of enterprises, and make new and greater contributions to the development of China-ASEAN rail transit business through sincere solidarity and practical cooperation.
