This program is specially set up by Nanjing Vocational Institute of Railway Technology for international students who are interested in learning Chinese and strengthening their Chinese communication and application ability. It is taught by experienced Chinese teachers and provides intensive training in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and HSK test counseling.After the completion of the study period, the school will issue a certificate of completion and a transcript to those who pass the assessment.
Academic system and application conditions
Duration: One semester or more
Application conditions: 16-40 years old, foreign citizens with a high school education or above, in good physical and mental health. Those under the age of 18 need to submit a guardian's guarantee (see Annex for the format). For those who were originally Chinese citizens and then became foreign nationals, the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education shall be implemented.
Learning content
Courses: Intensive reading, listening, speaking, writing, reading, Chinese culture, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, Taijiquan, table tennis, etc.
Cultural activities: Visit Nanjing and surrounding historical and cultural attractions and more.
Language practice: Exchanges with Chinese students, Chinese recitation and speech competitions, teaching visits and internships, etc.
Application time
Spring semester: from October to December 25th each year, until full;
Autumn semester: From February to June 25th each year, until full.
Application materials
1. Scanned page of the first page of the passport (ordinary passport within the validity period);
2. The highest academic certificate and corresponding transcripts; If you have study experience in China, you need to provide study certificates and transcripts from relevant institutions.
3. Fill in the admission application form for foreign students (please specify the language preparatory program)
4. Scanned copies of all China-related visas and residence permits (if you have never been to China, you can use your passport page instead);
5. Foreigner Physical Examination Form, the applicant shall carry out the inspection strictly according to the items listed in the form, and the inspection result is valid for 6 months;
6. Proof of no criminal record.
School start time
The school starts in February and September every year, and the specific time is subject to the "Admission Notice".
Visa application and enrollment procedures
Admitted applicants should go to Chinese embassies and consulates abroad with ordinary passports, "Admission Letter", "Visa Application Form for Studying in China" (JW202 Form), "Physical Examination Form for Foreigners" and "Blood Test Report" Entering study (X1) visa, and holding the above materials, go to the International Education College of Nanjing Vocational Institute of Railway Technology to go through the registration procedures at the time specified in the notice.
If it is affected by force majeure such as the epidemic situation, the check-in time and check-in method shall be subject to the email and official notification.
