Introduction of the School of Locomotive and Car
The School of Locomotive and Car originated from the Power Engineering Department established in 2006. In 2015, the department made a new round of adjustment, and the School of Locomotive and Car was officially established. The School of Locomotive and Car has built a Jiangsu Province high-speed railway rolling stock training base and an EMU maintenance production and education integration training platform.
Majors in School of Locomotive and Car
The School of Locomotive and Car provides junior college education for four majors of railway locomotive, EMU maintenance technology, urban rail transit vehicle technology and railway vehicles, along with two undergraduate majors: vehicle engineering (EMU) and vehicle engineering (urban rail vehicles). The major of EMU maintenance technology is a key construction major supported by the central finance. The major of railway locomotive is one of the first brand majors of the Jiangsu Province.
Introduction of the Admission Major of Urban Rail Vehicle Application Technology
This major aims to cultivate the driving, operation, application and maintenance abilities for urban rail electric trains. Mainly for the first-line subway positions, training high-quality skilled rail transit talents with high cultural literacy and urban rail vehicle driving, daily examination, maintenance, application and management abilities. Graduates are mainly employed for urban rail transit enterprises, urban rail vehicle manufacturing enterprises, engaged in the driving, maintenance, operation and manufacturing of urban rail electric train related work.

Graduation Requirements
1. No disciplinary sanction or sanction rescinded;
2. Complete and passed all the courses stipulated and obtain 150 credits;
3. Complete the corresponding public elective courses and receive at least 6 credits.
